Hi, did people already submit presentation abstracts for FOSS4G 2010? Possible titles I'd like to submit are: a) "GeoServer integrated WPS: current status and future evolutions" Talking about features, extra speed, integrations like processes to register the output as a layer, a glimpse into the future with the ability to register a process as a dynamic layers, results caching, per session/user catalog views. This requires some work on WPS, but I'm confident I can work on it a bit during the Bolsena code sprint and put some of my spare time over it as well. b) "GeoServer cartographic rendering: new features for map makers" Geometry transformations, variable substitution, dynamic symbolizers, expressing widths and sizes in meters, map layouts, printing module, styling with CSS. Could be also titled "GeoServer cartographic rendering: beyond SLD", but that might raise complaints c) "GeoServer in production: monitoring and controlling load". This one could talk about control flow and monitoring. However, it requires the monitoring module to be developed further. Also, unsure where monitoring will be located, if it's in Suite there's the risk that the presentation will be turned down due to the OpenGeo stamp Oh, I'm also going to be involved in the benchmarking presentation so I guess I'll have to choose just one of the above. Or at most two hoping they won't be both accepted... Cheers Andrea -- Andrea Aime OpenGeo - http://opengeo.org Expert service straight from the developers.
